Sometimes all you need is a Carousel
When your emotions are up and down
When you feel like you just might drown
Then you meet a friend who makes you smile
They say take a seat and stay a while
From the outside in it looks mundane
For some perhaps even insane
But simply brush others off
Who cares about those who huff and scoff
A spinning disc in sand that spins you round
Admiring the night sky while nothing makes a sound
The tree stands watch, shielding you both from view
Time passes, you leave, feeling full with life anew
So it comes to be that this is what I tell
